New preprint
We solved the structure of human NHE6, revealing a lipid-stabilized cytoplasmic gate
and an extended disordered C-terminus. The study was led by postdoc Lukas.

Welcome Marie and Caroline
This month we welcome two new members of the team.
Marie will be with us for 6 months as an ERASMUS student.
Caroline will be with us for a month in an internship.

JUNE

PhD student Ciara was selected for a flash talk at the Chemical Solutions in Structural Biology Symposium.
Ciara absolutely nailed it talking about her project on native nanodiscs.

APRIL

After a two year hiatus, the Autzen Group had our annual lab retreat. We spent most of the day at Zoku where we talked about our individual projects and how to better inter-relate them in future projects. We also went to do an Escape room and had dinner together. All in all, a great day!

JANUARY

Maria Vicino joined our group as postdoc!
Maria comes with a PhD from University of Bonnand will work with ASICs and NHEs.
We are really excited and look forward to work with Maria!
